After over a decade of home cooking, I attended culinary school at Iowa Culinary Institute.

Following graduation, I started a successful meal subscription program and regularly sell out within minutes of posting my weekly menu. I have been a Private Chef, working directly with families to meal plan, shop, and prepare weekly meals. In addition, I moderate NYT bestselling cookbook author Julia Turshen's online cooking classes, Sundays With Julia. I answer students' questions and troubleshoot recipes in real time.

I am an avid cookbook reader, a meticulous recipe follower, and an excellent communicator. As a small business owner, Chef, and home cook, I bring a balance of professionalism, attention to detail, quick problem-solving, and a passion for cooking to recipe testing. I have the skills and experience of a professional Chef but work most comfortably in a home kitchen. I test recipes for accuracy, consistency, and of course, make sure they are delicious!
